Prayer Guide

1 Timothy 2:1-2: 2 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 

Pray for our Federal Government:

  • Our President and his administration.
  • Our Vice President and the US Senate
  • Our Speaker of the House and the US House of Reps.
  • Our Chief Justice and the US Supreme Court.
  • The upcoming elections on November 3rd.

Pray for our State Government:

  • Our Governor and his administration
  • Our legislators
  • Our judicial system.
  • Our Health Officials

Pray for our Local Government:

  • Our Mayor and his administration
  • Our County Commissioners
  • Our School Board
  • Our Sherriff ,Police Chief and  all local law enforcement.
  • All other local governing bodies.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Pray for Local Churches:

  • For local Pastors and their families.
  • For Revival in the Church
  • For an Outpouring of the Holy Spirit
  • For unity among local believers.

Pray for Repentance in our County:

  • That the Holy Spirit would convict us of our sin.
  • That God would break us of all forms of pride, both worldly and religious pride.
  • That we would prioritize intimacy with Jesus.
  • That we would prioritize the Great Commission.

Pray for Healing in our County:

  • Pray for Healthcare workers.
  • Pray for an end to the Coronavirus  Pandemic.
  • Pray for broken hearts to be restored.
  • Pray for broken relationships to be restored.
  • Pray for the salvation of people who don’t know Jesus.
