The purpose of the Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God´s healing power in our lives through the '8 Recovery Principles.'

This experience allows us to be changed, as we open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. Doing this, we become willing to accept God´s grace in solving our lives´ problems. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. It's through this that we become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.

As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.

Celebrate Recovery seeks to provide a safe, non-judgemental environment where you can work alongside fellow strugglers in finding true freedom from life's hurts, habits and hang-ups.

We look forward to meeting you soon.

R= Realize I am not God; I admit that I am powerless to control my tendancy to do the wrong thing and my life is unmanageable.

E= Earnestly believe that God exists, that I matter to Him, and that he has the power to help me recover.

C= Consciously choose to commit all my life and will to Christ's care and control.

O= Openly examine and confess my faults to God, myself, and to someone I trust.

V= Voluntarily submit to every change God wants to make in my life and humbly ask Him to remove my character defects.

E= Evaluate all my relationships; offer forgiveness to those who have hurt me and make amends for harm I have done to others except when to do so would harm them or others.

R= Reserve a daily time with God for self examination, Bible reading and prayer in order to know God and His will for my life, and to gain the power to follow His will.

Y= Yield myself to God to be used to bring this good news to others, both by my example and by my words.

F . A . Q . about Celebrate Recovery (CR)

1. What is expected of me if I attend Celebrate Recovery, and is it SAFE?
All efforts to ensure the physical and emotional safety of our participants are taken seriously. During the large group experience or open share groups, participants are never asked to share. Although sharing is voluntary, it is encouraged for the purpose of healing. During step-study groups, however, participation is required

2. How can I remain anonymous?
Anonymity and Confidentiality are stressed in Celebrate Recovery. No information will be required of you beyond your first name in order to be a participant in Celebrate Recovery. During Open Share groups, which are gender-specific groups

3. What will others think of me?
You will be met by genuinely humble, loving and merciful leaders and CR team members upon attendance to Celebrate Recovery. Celebrate Recovery is not a place for judgement.

4. How do I know if Celebrate Recovery is for ME?
The philosophy of Celebrate Recovery is that everyone suffers from hurts, habits or hang-ups. In fact, all humans are in recovery from one thing: sin. If you feel as if a particular hurt, habit, or hangup remains unexplained or unresolved, renders any part of your life unmanageable, or seems uncontrollable at times, then CR is for you. Celebrate Recovery will help you experience the hope and healing that Jesus intends for your life.
